I like hardware

Okay, the reason why I'm hiding in Polar Bear (by house) writing in you is because I couldn't get into the house.  I was about to unlock the door when a car pulled up to the building and it started to rain.
  1. I think the car pulling up and the rain are connected somehow
  2. I needed to get out of there because I don't think that the driver would appreciate a girl w/amnesia trying to "break-in"
So I clicked my middle finger and thumb back to it's normal state and ran into town.  It was only 5 past 5, so nothing really changed, though the lights in one of the stores was on.  It was still raining after I got inside.

No one was at the cash register, so I roamed the aisles for something to help my wrist.  I found Rust-B-Gone and decided to go to the front to see if there were some free mints or something, 'cuz I was hungry!  I grabbed a case of pepperments and waited for about ten minutes (entertaining myself by making a castle out of mint containers).  I was about to just walk out the door (despite the alarms I'll cause) when this shriveled elderly man stepped out and called out "Hey!  What are you doing!?"  I was afraid he might hit me with a rake, but instead he bent down behind the counter and puled out a slightly-used can of RBG (Rust-B-Gone) and handed it over, taking back the one I held.  "Um, hello Mr....(I read his name tag)Arnold."  He looked at me funny and told me to call him Arnold.  Apparently, he knows me somehow (but who the heck is he?) and he was telling me how business has been slow, and how I should start asking around for donations.  I wasn't really paying attention until he gave me a key and left.  It was a standard silvery key, but it had a neon green key chain attatched.

I thanked him quickly and went outside.  It was drizzling, but dry enough for me to get working.

Rust is orange

I woke up and I was really stiff. Not just tired-stiff, rusty-stiff. I looked at my wrist and it was covered in a dusty looking orange. This felt familier... But I wandered into town, and then I realized either I woke up after a few hours, or it was way early. I checked my wrist (there was a strange contraption with numbers on it--a clock?). It was 5 in the morning. Really early, and nothing would be open.

Too bad...I forgot what would clear this up. So I wandered around, not sure about what to do. I think I wandered all around town. It's pretty big too, with a river running through the middle of town, connecting at the top to a giant lake! But I was walking until I saw something.

It was absolutely huge! It was a big blue building, about three stories high with a giant tube reaching from one end to the other on the top. It stretched from one end of the river to the other, with a modern mill on the side. I ran up to it and knocked on the orange door. No one answered, but a little flap next to it opened, and out popped a tray with a mechanical mouse on it. It talked.
"Hello Stranger. You might know Professor J. or not. But please leave a message, or come back later."
It disappeared back into the slot and a red light went on above it. I didn't really want to leave a message, but I was curious...

Something strange is going on here. I was gonna leave a message, but I decided not to, so all I said was "Um...". Then the mouse appeared again and said "Welcome Ziana! Please enter." I tried the door but it was locked with an old-timey looking lock. I looked around, maybe for a key or something, nothing. But I did notice that my middle finger if I press it to my thumb turns into a key that fits. Seriously strange.

Where am I?

I just opened my eyes to a blue sky earlier today. Unusual, I don't remember a blue sky. In fact, I do not remember anything really! I do not think that's good. I got up and moved around a bit, looking around, but it was weird because I looked under rocks. And under a small tree.

I don't think that's normal because I saw a little creature, a...girl? look at me really funny, or maybe that's because I look funny. All I know are the following:
1. I have blue hair and silvery skin (like a shiny, oily gray skin)
2. I can look underground while no one else can.
3. I see a bunch of lights on the horizon

Later On
I have walked towards the lights and made it. Also strange, I guessed that it was about a mile away, and I did not know I could walk/run 30 mph! I arrived on the outskirts of this town, and I hope no one noticed, but I'm hiding in a clump of trees. I found a little blank book with a few pages ripped out. I think it was a sketch book...
Good Night
