- I think the car pulling up and the rain are connected somehow
- I needed to get out of there because I don't think that the driver would appreciate a girl w/amnesia trying to "break-in"
No one was at the cash register, so I roamed the aisles for something to help my wrist. I found Rust-B-Gone and decided to go to the front to see if there were some free mints or something, 'cuz I was hungry! I grabbed a case of pepperments and waited for about ten minutes (entertaining myself by making a castle out of mint containers). I was about to just walk out the door (despite the alarms I'll cause) when this shriveled elderly man stepped out and called out "Hey! What are you doing!?" I was afraid he might hit me with a rake, but instead he bent down behind the counter and puled out a slightly-used can of RBG (Rust-B-Gone) and handed it over, taking back the one I held. "Um, hello Mr....(I read his name tag)Arnold." He looked at me funny and told me to call him Arnold. Apparently, he knows me somehow (but who the heck is he?) and he was telling me how business has been slow, and how I should start asking around for donations. I wasn't really paying attention until he gave me a key and left. It was a standard silvery key, but it had a neon green key chain attatched.
I thanked him quickly and went outside. It was drizzling, but dry enough for me to get working.
